The second-annual Legs N’ Dregs Brewery Marathon will take place on Sunday, April 10, at 11 a.m. in New Orleans. The race is a marathon distance run along a route that connects the city’s many breweries, serving as a celebration of both the city’s running and craft beer communities.
Hatched and devised by running and beer enthusiasts Scott Tomford and Kory Koponen, the inaugural Legs N’ Dregs Brewery Marathon took place on October 18, 2020, with the run returning after a prolonged absence due to COVID-19 and the aftermath of Hurricane Ida. With more than 50 runners likely in attendance, Legs N’ Dregs is the only marathon-distance brewery run in the country. Runners stop at each brewery to drink a five-ounce pour of beer at each of the marathon’s stops.
