Le Petit Théâtre de Vieux Carré is hosting its second annual fundraiser, The Curtain Call Ball, on September 9 to celebrate its 100th anniversary while also raising funds to sustain the theater and its mission into the next century.
The event promises an unforgettable evening of theatre, music, food, and revelry, hosted at Le Petit Theatre and Dickie Brennan’s Tableau. Jefferson Turner is sure to captivate guests with a myriad of show tunes in the upstairs Drawing Room, while the Peter Harris Trio will perform throughout the evening. Guests will also receive an exclusive look at the theater’s season opener, Pippin.
Aside from entertainment, the Curtain Call Ball offers attendees the opportunity to mingle with friends and performers while enjoying delicious food and beverages, including the premier of Le Petit’s Centennial cocktail, which will subsequently be served throughout the year at Tableau. Guests will also have the chance to participate in a live auction full of enticing items, such as a Broadway vacation package and a meal for 10 at your home created by Dickie Brennan’s chef.
Tickets to this event are priced at $250 per individual or $450 per couple, with a 50 percent discount for patrons under 35. The evening will commence at 7:00 p.m. with the theatre program beginning at 7:30 p.m.
