The Lazy Jack Bar and Grill is a restaurant and lakeside music venue that’s part of the Lakeshore Landing complex  on the southeastern shore of Lake Pontchartrain. The Lazy Jack is open every Thursday through Sunday, offering cocktails, wine and beer with beautiful harbor and lake views, with live music on weekend evenings, game viewing on Sundays and food from chef Phyllis Accardo.

Weekends through late July have music booked from a bevy of bands, all of whom deliver some variation of rock. The schedule is as follows:

The Lazy Jack has its aim set on “bringing back the Lakefront” as a popular destination for social gatherings, live music, dining and more. “Growing up in New Orleans meant weekends cruising the Lakefront. Hanging out with your friends, windows down and radios up, seeing and being seen. The Lazy Jack is bringing that back,” the venue says.

As reported by OffBeat.com in 2017, Lakeshore Landing is an entertainment complex launched by Tipitina’s Foundation directors Mary and Roland von Kurnatowski. The couple recently lost ownership of the Tipitina’s music venue due to Roland von Kurnatowski’s alleged acts of fraud.
