New Orleans is known for its incredible talent, so when it was suggested to honor the 40th anniversary of Martin Scorcese’s film The Last Waltz in 2016, there was an abundance of musicians to include. Now in its third year, New Orleans’ rendition of “The Last Waltz” will gather the city’s most talented musicians at the Joy Theater on November 23, 2018, carrying forth a tradition of uniting incredible musicians for a once-in-a-lifetime performance.

The lineup this year includes many of New Orleans’ most talented musicians: Alex McMurray, Billy Iuso, Brian Stoltz, CR Gruver, Darcy Malone, Dave Jordan & The NIA, Erica Falls, Honey Island Swamp Band, The Iceman Special, Jake Eckert, Johnny Sansone, Mark Mullins, Mike Doussan, Naughty Professor Horns, New Orleans Suspects, Papa Mali, Paul Sanchez, Reggie Scanlan, Robert Mercurio, Ron Johnson and Terrance Higgins.

Proceeds from ticket sales to The Last Waltz benefit the New Orleans Musicians Clinic, which provides medical care to musicians and artists regardless of insurance or ability to pay. Tickets range from $20 to $65 and can be purchased here. The event is appropriate for all ages.
