Unless someone schedules a Woulda/Shoulda/Coulda second line or a “Remember Hap Glaudi” rally, today’s “12th Man Fan Appreciation Day” may be your last chance to finish strong and celebrate the Saints one final time for this season. This afternoon starting at 4 p.m., Bobby Hebert and Deke Bellavia will broadcast WWL’s “Sports Talk” live from Harrah’s Masquerade, and it will include appearances by Dome announcer Jerry Romig, the 610 Stompers, Angela “I Believe” Bell and more. Then at 8 p.m., the Ying Yang Twins will play a free show in Masquerade that will undoubtably end with “Halftime (Stand Up and Get Crunk).” At some point during the festivities, Darren Sharper is scheduled to appear.
Harrah’s is starting 12th Man Day earlier, though. Starting at 9 a.m. in Masquerade, there will be drink specials and Saints-related bonuses for Total Rewards cardholders.
After this, can we let the Ying Yang Twins go home and the song go with them – at least for a while?
