New Orleans will soon be the recipient of a massive waterfront entertainment complex, Lakeshore Landing. Until construction is completed, the developers behind the project are offering a free concert series, which began on September 15. They all take place at the new waterfront bar, Lester & Seymour’s, where live entertainment and food come with a view of the beautiful South Shore Harbor Marina.

Just a short distance from the Lakefront Airport, the fledgling bar has announced selected performers for the so-called “Hard Hat” concert series presented by Tipitina’s on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through October 1:

September 22: Mike Harvey’s Hot Club of New Orleans
September 23: Quarter Notes
September 24: Red Organ Trio
September 29: Quarter Notes
October 1: The Fortifiers

There will be a cash bar, food served by the Food Drunk Food Truck, as well as live music. All events take place at 6701 Stars and Stripes Blvd. and are family friendly with doors opening at 4p.m.

Lakeshore Landing is slated for a Spring 2018 grand opening.
