Krewe of Boo will add some Mardi Gras flair to New Orleans’ Halloween festivities when the parade rolls through downtown this Saturday.
The spooky procession will begin on Frenchmen Street at 6:30pm before swinging through the French Quarter by way of Decatur Street. It will then loop around a few blocks of Canal Street, head down Tchoupitoulas and make a left on St. Joseph Street before terminating at the Convention Center.
Much like previous years, Krewe of Boo will feature a variety of Halloween-themed floats, along with numerous marching groups like the 610 Stompers, Organ Grinders, Rolling Elvi, Tap Dat and many more.
Krewe of Boo will also host an official pre-party and an after-parade costume party. The Captain’s Masquerade Ball will bring Kidd Love, The 610 Stompers and the Halloween Burlesque Review to Republic on Friday, October 21, while Dumpstaphunk and Sexual Thunder are slated to perform at the Monster Mash at Howlin’ Wolf after the parade wraps up on Saturday, October 22.
