Hurray for the Riff Raff has readied a new album, Look Out Mama, and while the band has a label, Loose Music, to release the album in England, it’s planning to release the album itself in America. To help make that happen, it has started a Kickstarter campaign. Among the premiums for contributing is an album of covers titled My Dearest, Darkest Neighbor. The two tracks on the Kickstarter page—John Lennon’s “Jealous Guy” and Townes Van Zandt’s “Delta Mama Blues”—suggest that it’s a stripped down affair focused on Alynda Lee Segarra’s voice.
