Though major fall music festivals in New Orleans have been postponed until 2022, several local musicians are hosting events on a smaller but no less festive scale. Trumpeter/vocalist Kermit Ruffins will host his first ever “Kermit’s Fun Fest” at Kermit’s Treme Mother-In-Law Lounge over the weekend of October 8–10. The festival will feature live music from a variety of local acts, food, and drinks. The party kicks off on Friday at 4:20 PM with a performance by Kermit Ruffins himself.
Admission is $30. Sponsorships are available and anyone may sponsor a band. Sponsorship includes admission for ten people for all three days of the festival as well as food and drink tickets. For more information on sponsoring a band, please contact [email protected].
