Josh Ritter will kick off the spring leg of his tour with a show at New Orleans’ Civic Theatre on Monday, May 16. The singer-songwriter will be joined by his Royal City Band for the performance, which is scheduled to begin at 8pm.

Ritter is currently on the road in support of his latest album, 2015’s Sermon the Rocks. The release, which was recorded over the course of two weeks at New Orleans’ Parlor Recording Studio, finds him backed by the Royal City Band, an outfit that includes bassist Zach Hickman, guitarist Josh Kaufman, pianist Sam Kassirer and drummer Matt Barrick.

Tickets for the show at New Orleans’ Civic Theatre are currently on sale.
