On Friday, March 27, an all-star line up of New Orleans musicians will perform a tribute concert to Joe Cocker at One Eyed Jacks.

The band will include Chris Mulé, Mark Mullins, Brint Anderson, Mike Burkhart, Margie Perez, Marc Paradis, Marc Stone, Dana Abbott, Micah McKee, Josh Paxton, Lucas Davenport, Arséne Delay, Colin Davis, Taylor Mills, Will Thompson, Scott Jackson, Brad Walker, Marc Levron, Amy Trail, Jamie St. Pierre, and more to be announced.

They’ll perform the 1970 live album Mad Dogs and Englishmen in its entirety, as well as a few other songs.

In a funny coincidence, the March 27 date was chosen for the One Eyed Jacks show before organizers realized that March 27, 1970, began Cocker’s monumental two day Fillmore East concert that Mad Dogs and Englishmen was recorded from.
