Harpist Joanna Newsom is coming to New Orleans this September on tour to debut her new album.

From Drag City Records, Joanna Newsom electrified her audience with her new album, Divers, last year. This may be her first southern tour, but this isn’t her first trip to New Orleans. She’s played at local spots like Tipitina’s, but she’s also found herself on the national stage before, performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on ABC and other television spots.

Her southern tour will kick off in the fall when Newsom will make three stops in the south, one of which being right here in New Orleans on Friday, September 9 at the Civic Theatre. Tickets will be available soon.
