The Jazz and Heritage Foundation’s Don “Moose” Jamison Heritage School of Music will be hosting auditions for its Spring 2015 semester this Saturday at 10 a.m.
The school is free and open to kids between the ages of 10 and 17, and there are three programs available this year: the main music education program (which offers lessons in brass, woodwinds, piano, bass, drums, guitar, voice, and theory), the new Jazz & Heritage All-City Big Band, and the new Jazz & Heritage Brass Band.
Auditions will take place in the Foundation’s new state-of-the-art education facility, the George and Joyce Wein Jazz & Heritage Center. It can be found at 1225 North Rampart St.
