In the past, the Superdome and Arena box offices have been the last place to get less-expensive Jazz Fest tickets. Tomorrow night’s Game 6 between the Hornets and the Los Angeles Lakers at the Arena throws a potential monkey-wrench into the plans of last-minute ticket buyers, but Jazz Fest has worked something out. According to a recent email we received from festival organizers:
Due to tomorrow night’s Hornets game, advance sales of tickets to the first weekend of Jazz Fest will end at the New Orleans Arena box office at 4 p.m. Thursday (credit cards or cash). To accommodate ticket buyers, the Superdome box office at ground level Gate A will sell Jazz Fest tickets from 4 – 6 p.m. on Thursday (CASH ONLY). Discounted advance tickets to Jazz Fest are only $45, plus applicable service charges.
