The Howlin’ wolf will host the annual Megalomaniacs Ball on Wednesday, April 27.

The party, which takes place each year during Jazz Fest season, will be headlined by the Dean Ween Group. The band features Ween guitarist Mickey “Dean Ween” Melchiondo and a rotating cast of characters, so there’s no telling who will be a part of the lineup (though Ween/Joe Russo’s Almost Dead bassist Dave Dreiwtiz is probably a safe bet).

Also on the bill are Mike Dillon’s New Orleans Punk Rock Consortium, The Stanton Moore Trio featuring David Torkanowsky and James Signelton, and the Illuminaughty Trio featuring Mike Dillon, Brian Haas and James Singleton,

Additionally, the Mike Dillon Band will play a late night set in the Howlin’ Wolf Den.
