The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival presented by Shell starts tomorrow, but it’s had a few zero-hour lineup changes for Sunday. King Sunny Ade and his African Beats had to cancel their appearance on the Congo Square “My Louisiana” Stage due to deaths in the band, so the Congo Square schedule is changed. Rather than book a replacement show, the set times have been adjusted:
Rumba Buena: 11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m.
Donald Harrison: 1:15-2:30 p.m.
Juan Luis Guerra y 44o: 3:15-4:30 p.m.
Anita Baker: 5:15-6:55 p.m.
Also on Sunday, Ingrid Lucia and an all-star band has been added to the Economy Hall schedule. She’ll perform at 4:10 in place of Sammy Rimmington.
