The Jazz Education Network (JEN) has announced that applications are now open for performers and presenters for its 17th Annual Conference, scheduled to take place from Jan. 7 -10, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in New Orleans. The Jazz Education Network is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to building the jazz arts community by advancing education, promoting performance, and developing new audiences.
Founded in 2008, this event brings together jazz enthusiasts, educators, students and professionals from around the world for four days of performances, workshops, panel discussions and networking opportunities. JEN is seeking dynamic performers and insightful presenters to contribute to the conference’s diverse program.
Performers and clinicians have included a veritable “who’s who” of the jazz world, including Terence Blanchard, Randy Brecker, Branford Marsalis, Terell Stafford, Victor Wooten, David Sanchez, Sean Jones, Tia Fuller, The Preservation Hall Legacy Band, The Yellowjackets, Jeff Hamilton, Kirk Whalum and many more.
The application period runs from April 1 to April 30, 2025. To be eligible, applicants must hold a JEN Full Individual, Chapter Organizer, Institution, or Corporate Membership. Each submission requires a $30 application fee. Prospective applicants should prepare all necessary materials in advance and visit the JEN website during the application window to submit their proposals.
