James Taylor & His All-Star Band will headline a show at New Orleans’ Smoothie King Center on Thursday, August 3. It will be his first show in the Crescent City since he took over the UNO Lakefront Arena in 2014.

Bonnie Raitt & Her Band will also be on hand to open the night with a set of their own.

A legendary singer-songwriter and one of the most recognizable names in soft rock, Taylor put out his most recent album in 2015 with Before This World. The record marked his first new release in 13 years and was his first album to hit #1. In November of 2015, he was presented with the Presidential Medal of Freedom—the USA’s highest civilian honor—and in December 2016 he received the Kennedy Center Honors.

Tickets for Taylor and Raitt’s upcoming New Orleans concert will go on sale Friday, March 10.
