The Jazz Fest after show announcements began rolling in earlier this week with dates from Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats.
Now it looks like jam band fans have something to rejoice about, as improvisational rock staples moe. have confirmed a three-night New Orleans run around Jazz Fest.
The upstate New York five-piece will get started with an intimate show at Le Petit Theatre on Thursday, April 27, the day before Jazz Fest begins. The group will follow that up with two nights at the Civic Theatre on Friday, April 28 and Saturday, April 29. Brooklyn-based funk ensemble Turkuaz will open both of the Civic shows.
The three-night run will mark moe.’s first shows in New Orleans since their two-night stand at the Civic Theatre during Jazz Fest 2014.
Tickets for moe.’s upcoming shows are now on sale, but fans will only be able to attend the gig at Le Petit Theatre if they purchase a three-day pass. Individual tickets are available via the Civic Theatre, while three-day passes are available via moe.’s website.
