For the month of October, Jacques-Imo’s, located at 8324 Oak Street, announces it will donate 10 percent of sales on Thursday to benefit four local music venues.  When patrons order takeout or dine-in (by reservation only) on Thursdays, 10 percent of proceeds will go to d.b.a., Maple Leaf Bar, Tipitina’s,  and One Eyed Jacks.

Staffer Monique Pyle says of the fundraiser, “Maybe this will catch on with other restaurants cause without music there might be no restaurants!”

Jacques Imo’s Cafe is open 5-9 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays for dinner. Reservations are available by calling (504) 861-0886.
