After selling out its 2018 cook-off and music festival, Hogs for the Cause has announced its dates for a 2019 return. On March 29 and 30, the UNO Lakefront Arena Festival Grounds will once again host the sprawling event, which raises money for pediatric cancer research and treatment.
Due to the high demand for tickets to last year’s festival—which featured, among others, N.M.O. (North Mississippi Osborne), Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Stoop Kids, Turnpike Troubadours, Samantha Fish and Son Little—organizers have made a very limited number of $30 two-day general admission tickets available. We’re thrilled to get started on what will be the biggest Hogs yet!” says Rene Louapre, COO & Co-Founder of Hogs for the Cause. “In order to reward our most loyal Hogs fans, we are releasing a very limited amount of two-day tickets at a price even lower than last year’s one-day price of $35!”
The lineup for the 11th annual charity barbecue cook-off and music festival is still being finalized, but the advance tickets are on sale now. In addition, the two-day tickets with an additional $45 worth of Hoggy Dollars will be offered for a total of $75. Also, the RFID wristbands introduced last year can now be shipped to patrons prior the event.
