Hip Fest is back with improvised music and the collaboration of international musicians and local artists.

The national and international talent joining the festival this year includes Jeff Parker, Mazz Swift, and Cristiano Calcagnile (Italy).

The local lineup includes Kidd Jordan, Jonathan Freilich, Will Thomson, Marcello Benetti, Dave Easley, Jesse Morrow, Martin Kruske, Jeff Albert, Nick Benoit, and Ray Moore.

The music festival takes place at 9pm on Tuesday, September 20 at Blue Nile, and 8pm on Wednesday, September 21 at the Jazz and Heritage Center.

Admission for the Tuesday night show will cost $10, while the Wednesday night show is $20 ($15 pre-sale here).
