Gulf Aid takes place Sunday at Mardi Gras World River City, and there will be music on two stages, one inside, and there will be food booths featuring Louisiana seafood throughout.
Musically, one of the interesting surprises presented by the lineup is that Mos Def will be performing with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. Of all the bands he could play with, that’s not one of the obvious choices and promises to be an interesting set.
