Greg Schatz and the Friggin’ Geniuses are celebrating the release of their new album with a CD release party at Siberia on St. Claude Avenue on Friday, July 10, at 10 p.m.

The album features special appearances by New Orleans stalwarts John Boutté, Susan Cowsill, Tiffany Pollack, Jason Mingledorff, Eric Lucero, Charlie Halloran and Helen Gillet.

Kiyoko McCrae will kick off the festivities with her trio at 10 p.m., and the Friggin’ Geniuses will hit the stage at 11.

The $10 cover charge includes a copy of the new album.
