Greensky Bluegrass will bring their progressive bluegrass sound to New Orleans for a show at the Joy Theater on Saturday, October 15. The band is no stranger to the New Orleans music scene—last year, they headlined Hogs for a Cause, an annual festival that raises money for the families of children with pediatric brain cancer. They also performed at Jazz Fest back in 2014.

Greensky Bluegrass’s unique brand of string music has earned them a dedicated following in New Orleans. The Michigan-based band merges acoustic rock, bluegrass and traditional Americana with jam band sensibilities reminiscent of Phish and the Grateful Dead.

Tickets for their New Orleans show will go on sale next Friday, July 22 at 10am.
