Friday-Sunday this past Memorial Weekend, the Greek-Orthodox Holy Trinity Cathedral on Bayou St. John hosted the 38th Greek Festival New Orleans, an annual celebration of local Hellenic heritage. The festival featured classic Greek cuisine (including a to-die-for baklava sundae), music by Alpha Omega, traditional dancers, and even a toga contest.
