Designed to support the reopening and ongoing efforts of entertainment venues to remain safe and functional during the pandemic, Open NOLA Grant funds through the New Orleans Tourism and Cultural Fund can be used for PPE and personnel costs to ensure compliance with recent COVID-19 protocols that require checking vaccination status or negative COVID tests of patrons at indoor businesses.

Eligible venues may apply for a maximum of $6,000 grants, of which $2,000 may be used to meet mandated requirements for masking, social distancing, plexiglass separations, upgrades to HVAC systems and personnel costs to stem the spread of COVID 19. Venues can also receive additional support up to $4,000 if they show proof of booking live entertainment.
