The Recording Academy’s Grammy U program will be hosting an open mic and mixer at the Tulane Hillel Center at 6:30 p.m.
The Recording Academy is the organization of musicians, songwriters, producers, and other music industry workers that’s internationally acclaimed for putting on the Grammy Awards.
They created Grammy U to assist college students pursuing careers in the music business.
They have chapters around the country and host events throughout the semester, and they’re currently looking to increase their coverage in Louisiana.
The mixer will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the open mic at 8 p.m.
There will be live music, food, and lots of opportunities to talk to Grammy U’s staff members and find out more about the organization.
The event is free and open to all students.
