Galactic and Tipitina’s are teaming up to launch a two-day music festival called The Landing this September.

Galactic, Grace Potter, Cake, Dr. Dog, Trampled By Turtles, St. Paul and the Broken Bones, North Mississippi Allstars and Anders Osborne present: N.M.O., The Revivalists, The Soul Rebels, and Rayland Baxter are all slated to perform.

“It’s so exciting for Galactic to have our own festival,” Galactic bassist and founding member  Robert Mercurio said in a press release. “We have played hundreds of festivals and wish to bring all of the best parts of those back home to New Orleans.”

The festival will be held at South Shore Harbor on September 26 and 27. Presale tickets and limited VIP packages go on sale today at noon. Regular tickets go on sale to the public Monday, July 6.
