Cyril Neville will take up vocal duties with Galactic when the New Orleans rockers co-headline three shows with jazz-funk trio Soulive next year.

The bands will get started at The Fillmore in Denver on February 20 before hitting The Electric Factory in Philadelphia on March 24 and the House of Blues in Boston on March 25. The Bright Light Social Hour will also be on hand to open the night for the Philadelphia and Boston gigs.

Neville has collaborated with Galactic on a number of occasions over the years, including a notable stint as the group’s touring vocalists in 2010. The singer and percussionist has joined them in studio a few times as well–most recently on “Out on the Street” from 2012’s Carnivale Electricos.
