Galactic, Ani DiFranco and Lost Bayou Ramblers are among the artists that will perform at L’Extravagance, a benefit for the Lycée Français de la Nouvelle-Orleans.
The event will take place at Generations Hall on Sunday, March 13 and will raise money for the K-12 charter school. Lycee Francais de la Nouvelle-Orleans is the first public school of its kind in the country, offering a French curriculum that allows graduating students to earn a Louisiana State diploma, as well as French baccalaureate diploma.
In addition to the music, L’Extravagance will also feature an open bar and food from restaurants like Angeline, Arabella Casa di Pasta, Bistro Daisy, Chiba, Nacho Mamas, Taceaux Loceaux, Shank Charcuterie, Ruth’s Chris, Sylvain, Patois, Purloo, Tartine and Toups Meatery.
An exclusive patron party with entertainment from the Pascal Valcasara Quartet will begin at 5pm, while the main concert will go from 6 to 9pm.
