David Leonard–half of the renowned husband-and-wife busking team David and Roselyn–has severely injured his leg after a recent fall.
The longstanding musical duo has been performing together since 1959, when they met while working with an Air Force ensemble.
They moved to New Orleans with their children in 1975 and have since become mainstays in Jackson Square and around the French Quarter.
However, because of Leonard’s compromised mobility, they’ve been unable to perform these last several weeks.
They could use everybody’s help staying well fed while he recovers.
Friends have banded together to put together a “meal train,” and if you’re able to drop off food, you can sign up for a particular day here.
(If you’re out of town or busy, you can make a monetary donation using the same website.)
David and Roselyn thank you for your support!
