Freret Street Fest returns April 6 with Little Freddie King, Dwayne Dopsie & more

On Saturday, April 6, the Freret Street Corridor in Uptown New Orleans will transform into a street party when the Freret Street Festival returns.

Produced by Freret Market, the free and family-friendly event showcases local music, art, crafts and more. It’s also known for its inclusion of pet-adoption services, a diverse food court (with picnic seating at every intersection), a Kid’s Area and more.

This year’s Freret Street Fest, which takes place on Freret St. between Napoleon Ave. and Valmont St., three stages of live music will feature performances from the following:

Nola Capoeira will put on dance performances, as well.

Freret Street Fest will also feature performances from winners of Loyola University’s Battle of the Bands (which takes place March 31).
