This Monday, the Tipitina’s Foundation Music Co-op holds its monthly free hearing screenings for musicians, who often suffer hearing loss over the course of long, loud careers.

Local hearing specialist Dina Zeevi donates her services to the Tipitina’s Foundation as a way of giving back to the community, assessing patients’ needs for treatment or hearing aids.

She encourages early prevention through the use of high fidelity, custom-fit earplugs.

Appointments are available from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and will be held at the Tipitina’s Music Co-Op Office (4040 Tulane Avenue.)
