Former Galactic singer Theryl “Houseman” DeClouet will perform with the band when they co-headline Colorado’s famed Red Rocks Amphitheater on Thursday, July 14.
The 64-year-old vocalist was a member of Galactic from 1995 to 2004, when health concerns forced him to leave the band. A New Orleans native, DeClouet appeared on Galactic’s first four albums. He’s joined them on few occasions since his official departure, most recently at this year’s New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
Galactic will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut LP Coolin’ Off at the upcoming Red Rocks show, which is also slated to feature sets from co-headliner BoomBox and opening act Pimps of Joytime.
Tickets for the event are on sale here.
