Held on the Oak Street business corridor, from Carrollton Ave. to Eagle Ave., the street will welcome 40 different food vendors, an art market, a history center, and two stages hosting live local acts including Johnny Sketch & the Dirty Notes, Tank & The Bangas, the Rebirth Brass Band, Jon Cleary & the Absolute Monster Gentlemen and many more.

Additional live music will be playing throughout the day on the festival’s Saloon Stages found in neighborhood venues and restaurants like the Maple Leaf, Oak Wine Bar, Live Oak Café and more.

The Mater Dolorosa Church at Carrollton will be the host of the Where Y’Art Market in its courtyard from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., where more than 25 artists will feature their work.

The church’s Parish House will host the Oak Street History Center starting at 1:30 p.m. The History Center is curated by WWOZ and Louisiana Music Factory co-founder Jerry Brock and will welcome guest speakers such as former curator of the New Orleans Jazz Museum Justin Winston.

Early birds will be able to participate in the second edition of the Po-Boy Fest Race. Runners are invited to meet on the corner of Leak Ave. and Eagle St. for registration starting at 7 a.m. The race will start at 8 a.m.

The event is free and open to the public and will take place between the 8100-8800 blocks of Oak Street. Mater Dolorosa Church at Carrollton is located at 1225 Dublin St. See full music schedule below. More information can be found on poboyfest.com
