New Orleans rockers Flow Tribe have launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund their forthcoming Mannie Fresh-produced album, BOSS.
The six-piece group are about 50% through the process of making the album, which is slated to be their first LP in five years. According to their Kickstarter page, Flow Tribe have also enlisted artists like PJ Morton, Tank & The Bangas, Alexey Marti, Chantil Dukart, Matt Zarba and the Sexual Thunder horns to collaborate with them on the project.
All of the album’s tracks were laid down at New Orleans’ acclaimed Parlor Recording Studio in September, but the second half of production has not yet begun. The Kickstarter is aiming to raise funds for the next stage of the process, including mixing, mastering, pressing and promotion.
BOSS is tentatively scheduled for release in early 2017.
