Flight of the Conchords will head to New Orleans this summer, when they return to the United States for their first tour since 2014. The New Zealand-based comedy/folk music duo will perform at the Saenger Theatre on Monday, July 11.

Founded in Wellington in 1998, Flight of the Conchcords consists of comedians/guitiarists Brett Mackenzie and Jemaine Clement. The duo built up a following with their comic live shows before achieving stardom with their hit HBO television program, which ran from 2007 to 2009.

Flight of the Conchords’ upcoming shows will feature new material exclusive to these performances. The band’s last album, I Told You I Was Freaky, was released in 2009.

Tickets for Flight of the Conchords at the Saenger Theatre will go on sale this Friday, March 4 at 10am via Ticketmaster.
