The Resonant Rogues have launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for their first album of original material.

The Asheville based band has become a seasonal staple and local favorite on Royal Street, busking in the French Quarter throughout last Mardi Gras.

The campaign goal of $7,500 is to be allocated for album artwork, graphic design, mixing, mastering, and distribution.

The Resonant Rogues have done a lot of traveling, playing hundreds of shows all around the world, even though they formed less than two years ago.

Their plan for the next year is to tour throughout the United States and Europe, where they’ll finish up their tour in Ireland.

The Resonant Rogues are offering 14 levels of donation ranging from a digital download of the album before its official release, to house shows and dance lessons.

Other rewards include signed tour posters, band stickers, T-shirts, physical copies of the album, invitations to their CD release party, and music or belly dancing lessons.

With 31 days left to go, The Resonant Rogues have raised $2,057 of their $7,500 goal.
