Before hitting the road for an extensive North American tour, local sludge lords EyeHateGod will play two shows at Poor Boys bar, with special guest Stormy Daniels helming the merch table for one of the events. The band kicks off the tour with the official record release show for A History of Nomadic Behavior at Poor Boys September 10, supported by Goatwhore, Sick Thoughts, and Shitload. The September 11 show, which will feature Ms. Daniels, will have performances with The Obsessed, Total Hell, and Lowbrau. The tour will later see them team up with Gwar and Napalm Death.
EyeHateGod released A History Of Nomadic Behavior, their sixth studio album, in March via Century Media Records. The record followed a period that saw the band on the road for three years, preceded by vocalist Mike IX Williams suffering liver failure and a transplant. The album was produced by the band along with Sanford Parker (Yob, Voivod), and James Whitten (Thou, High On Fire), with mixing by Whitten. The band recorded at HighTower Recording and Hypercube Studios.
Daniels, a pornographic actress and director perhaps best known for her legal dispute with former president Donald Trump, was born in Baton Rouge. In 2010, she considered politics, hoping to unseat Republican senator David Vitter.
