Wednesday evening, Austin-based “post-rock” band Explosions in the Sky blew the roof off of a sold-out Tipitina’s, and “blew the roof off” we mean they very methodically, introspectively, and intensely crafted “guitar-driven soundscapes”, as OffBeat‘s Sam Primeaux writes in his review of Explosions in the Sky’s performance.
