The ESSENCE Festival of Culture is set to mark its 30th anniversary with a stellar lineup of musical acts and a rich array of cultural activities. This annual celebration of Black culture and artistry will take place from July 5 to July 7 at the Caesars Superdome, with concerts kicking off each evening at 6 p.m. Tickets are available on their website.
For three decades, this festival has been a cornerstone event, drawing attendees from all over the world to New Orleans. The festival showcases a mix of legendary artists and contemporary stars, offering a diverse musical experience that spans genres and generations.

During the day, festival-goers can enjoy the magazine’s Food & Wine Festival, held daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. This event offers a delightful array of culinary experiences, featuring tastings, cooking demonstrations and food from renowned chefs. Other activities include panel discussions with prominent authors, a tech summit, a film festival, immersive art experiences, and more.
