Big Freedia and Tank and the Bangas have been repping New Orleans hard these past few months. Tank and the Bangas have earned an increasingly large nationwide following as a result of their Tiny Desk Contest victory, while Big Freedia has continued to spread the gospel of bounce music to the world (her hit reality show plays no small part in that endeavor).

These two quintessentially New Orleans acts will return to their hometown on Saturday, July 1 for an exciting co-bill at Tipitina’s, with Alfred Banks and CoolNasty opening the show. Tickets for the concert are currently on sale, but we’re also giving away a pair of tickets to one lucky winner.
