Eagles of Death Metal will return to New Orleans on Tuesday, May 17 when they perform at One Eyed Jack’s in the French Quarter. The show will mark the band’s first concert in the Crescent City since last year’s inaugural Landing Festival.
Eagles of Death Metal have gained considerable notoriety since their show at Paris’ Bataclan music club was attacked by terrorists affiliated with the Islamic State on November 12, 2015. 89 people were killed in the tragedy, which was one of numerous coordinated attacks that left a total of 130 people dead. The band returned to Paris three months later to play another show at the venue.
Eagles of Death Metal will roll through New Orleans just a few days after they take the stage at Atlanta’s Shaky Knees Festival. The band will be touring in support of their 2015 album Zipper Down.
Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday, March 25 at 10am.
