Duran Duran’s arena tour will stop in New Orleans as part of a 26-date North American run in 2023 with Bastille, Nile Rodgers and CHIC.
The English rock band is touring off their 2021 album, FUTURE PAST, which was co-produced by Mark Ronson, Giorgio Moroder and Erol Alkan and features guest appearances by Tove Lo, Ivorian Doll, the Japanese band Chai, Mike Garson and Blur’s guitarist Graham Coxon. It was met with favorable reviews.
Duran Duran’s popularity spiked in the early ’80s as part of the “second British invasion.” Their popularity is partly due to their early involvement in MTV, which has earned them a reputation as music video innovators alongside acts like Michael Jackson, Adam and the Ants and Madonna.
Produced by Live Nation, THE FUTURE PAST TOUR begins on May 28 in San Jose, CA. It will make stops across Seattle, Portland, Salt Lake City, Austin, New Orleans, Dallas, Nashville, Atlanta, and Tampa before concluding the first leg in Florida on June 18. The tour will pick up again on August 24 in Sacramento, CA, with dates in Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Detroit, Toronto and more.
Ticket sales for Duran Duran’s arena tour begin Monday, February 13 at 10 a.m. here.
