Duran Duran will headline the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans on Sunday, April 24. The new wave superstars will be supported by Chic featuring Nile Rodgers.

Duran Duran achieved international success in the 1980s with hits like “Hungry Like The Wolf,” “Is There Something I Should Know,” “Union of the Snake” and “A View to Kill.” The band has played New Orleans on a few ocassions throughout their career, including a 2006 headlining slot at the Voodoo Experience.

Tickets for Duran Duran and Chic will go on sale via Ticketmaster this Saturday, December 12 at 10am.

In related news, New Orleans music fans on the hunt for some 80s nostalgia will be able to find it later this month, when REO Speedwagon plays a free show in Champtions Square.
