This is a busy weekend for second lines, with one on each side of the river Sunday afternoon, in addition to Junebug Productions’ Homecoming Project second line on Saturday.
On the east bank, the Dumaine Street Gang rolls through Treme and the Seventh Ward with the Stooges Brass Band leading the second line. The parade starts at noon at the Treme Center at N. Villere and St. Philip streets, where it disbands after stopping at Sixth and Seventh Ward landmarks like Sidney’s Saloon, Sweet Lorraine’s Jazz Club, and Seal’s Class Act.
