Dr. John will be holding court in Covington on Sunday, March 16, 2014, at the Third Annual Grayhawk Perkins Benefit Concert at the Columbia St. Rock-N-Blues Cafe.

Proceeds from the concert will benefit Safe Harbor, a domestic violence program, and the Greater New Orleans Youth Orchestra.

Doors open at 2:30 p.m., with the Red Hot Brass Band kicking off the music at 3 p.m., followed by the GrayHawk Band at 4 p.m., Christian Serpas & Ghost Town at 5 p.m., and Dr. John with The Grayhawk Band at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $40 each and there is a limit of four tickets per person. This year’s event will be hosted by Heath Allen of WDSU TV.
