Dr. John will play an intimate show at The Willow (formerly Jimmy’s Music Club) in New Orleans. The gig will take place on Friday, December 18, and will be a fundraiser for one of Dr. John’s good friends.

This Friday’s event will also feature appearances by special guests Davell Crawford, Claude Bryant and Michael J. O’Hara.

Tickets for the performance will not be available in advance, as they will only be on sale for $30 at the door on the day of the show. The venue’s capacity is just 650 people, so those that are interested in attending may want to arrive early. Music is slated to begin 8pm and Dr. John will take the stage at 9pm.

Dr. John, a Rock and Hall of Fame inductee and six-time Grammy Award winner, turned 75 last month. In honor of the occasion, Brett Milano compiled 10 “buried treasures” from the iconic New Orleans musician’s illustrious career.
