Dr. John, Anders Osborne, Tab Benoit and Mike Zito are among the Louisiana artists who will perform when the Big Blues Bender returns to the Plaza Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

Slated for September 7 to 10, the Sin City gathering will also feature sets from Mavis Staples, Walter Trout, Shemekia Copeland, Doyle Bramhall II, David Bromberg and many more.

Big Blues Bender offers all the music of a festival with all the amenities and attractions of a Las Vegas resort. In addition to the tunes, attendees will also be able to enjoy artist panels, a vendor village and theme nights, among other activities.

It should be noted that the Plaza Hotel & Casino is located in downtown Las Vegas, not along the iconic Strip that many associate with the gambling capital of the world. However, the city’s famed Fremont Street is adjacent to the resort, which is located in the city’s reinvigorated downtown.
